Job summary

ePlus is seeking a Solutions Architect – Service Provider to support telecom customers with deep routing and optical networking expertise. The role is remote, with a strong emphasis on pre‑sales engagement, design, and SOW development for high‑value opportunities.

The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience with SR‑MPLS, EVPN, DWDM, and ROADMs, and will work closely with Account Executives to align solutions with customer needs. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in telecommunications or service provider engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of routing and optical networking with SR‑MPLS, EVPN, DWDM, ROADMs.
• Experience designing solutions for service providers and drafting SOWs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical credibility to account teams on designated focus areas.
• Deliver customer presentations on ePlus solutions and designs.
• Assist sales with account planning and opportunity development (hardware, software, services).
• Create BOMs and write technical sections for RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.
• Develop architecture designs and detailed configuration/specifications.
• Collaborate with OEMs and field teams to vet recommendations and SOWs.
• Mentor junior sales engineers and transfer knowledge on solution updates.
