Job summary

ePlus Technology, inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect - Service Provider to guide complex pre-sales engagements for telecommunications customers across the Northeast from a remote position.

You will lead technical discussions, design future-state networks, and align with an Account Executive to win high-value opportunities. Responsibilities include crafting BOMs, drafting SOWs, delivering customer presentations, and ensuring technical feasibility of proposed architectures.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with high-end routing platforms
• Strong background in optical networking (DWDM, OTN, ROADMs)
• Deep protocol-level knowledge: BGP, MPLS, EVPN
• Solid pre-sales engineering background with SOWs and OEM collaboration

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to account teams for focus areas
• Conduct customer presentations and technical solutions discussions
• Assist with account planning and opportunity development
• Develop solution architectures and BOMs for proposals
• Draft SOWs for professional services engagements
• Coordinate with field OEM teams and professional services
• Mentor junior sales engineers as needed
• Handle knowledge transfer on solution updates and implementation lessons learned
