Job summary

ePlus Technology, inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to support telecommunications customers in a high-impact, pre-sales capacity.

The role combines deep technical guidance with strategic engagement to assess customer environments, design future-state networks, and draft SOWs for professional services. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with high-end routing and optical networking, including SR-MPLS, EVPN, DWDM, and ROADMs, and will work closely with account executives to close

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in telecommunications or service provider engineering.
• Experience in designing and deploying large-scale service provider networks.
• Strong knowledge of routing and optical networking architectures (SR-MPLS, EVPN, DWDM, ROADMs).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to account team on designated focus area.
• Conduct customer presentations on value proposition and technical solution sets for assigned accounts and focus areas.
• Assist sales account managers with overall account planning, as it relates to technical aspects of hardware, software, and services opportunity development.
• Assist sales account managers with project management for complex presales engagements.
• Complete technical sections for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses for assigned accounts.
• Develop solution architectures and detailed line-item configurations/BOMs.
• Develop proposal and/or presentation of recommended solutions.
• Assist with technical scoping/review for Statements of Work (SOWs) for assigned accounts.
