Job summary
Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks a Software Testing Principal (MUMPS) to lead QA for mission-critical healthcare applications in a MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environment. This remote, full-time role supports Veterans Affairs with a focus on testing strategy and data integrity across legacy systems. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in software testing, strong experience with HL7/FHIR, and ability to mentor junior testers.
U.S. citizenship and Public Trust (MBI) clearance are required.
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, government, or highly regulated settings.
- Proven ability to test enterprise healthcare applications.
- Experience with MUMPS and InterSystems Cache.
- Ability to develop detailed test plans and cases.
- Experience with SDLC and testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Support testing and QA for mission-critical healthcare apps in MUMPS/Cache.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts.
- Validate software enhancements and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and end users to meet test objectives.
- Verify data integrity across legacy healthcare systems.
