Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Software Testing Principal (MUMPS) to support testing for mission-critical healthcare applications in a remote setup. You will lead test planning, execution, and validation across MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environments, HL7/FHIR integrations, and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 10+ years in software testing, deep domain knowledge of healthcare systems, and experience mentoring others.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated healthcare/government environments.
• Experience testing enterprise healthcare applications and legacy systems.
• Experience with MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environments.
• Knowledge HL7, FHIR, HIPAA EDI standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, scripts and procedures for MUMPS/Cache apps.
• Validate enhancements and releases; perform functional, integration, regression, UAT testing.
• Verify data integrity across legacy systems and interfaces.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to align test objectives.
• Lead testing efforts and mentor junior testers; provide metrics and reports.
