Job summary

Slang AI is seeking an Account Executive (SMB) to drive new business from its remote US markets. You will hunt, qualify, and close opportunities in an AI-driven sales process, partnering with product and customer experience teams to ensure a smooth buyer journey.

You’ll live near one of our US markets (NYC, LA, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas) or remote, travel occasionally for conferences, and use modern sales tools to accelerate cycles while hitting quarterly quotas and contributing to our

Qualifications

3+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Described as a self-starter who is curious, resourceful, and resilient, with a growth mindset and pride in doing your best work.
Ability to speak directly to a prospect’s business problems and act as a trusted advisor.
You take ownership of outcomes and stay focused on results and learning from setbacks.
You adapt well in a growing company with changing priorities and rapid pace.
Open to feedback, self-motivated, and innovative in approach.
Experience using modern sales technology and AI tools to drive productivity.
Strong written and verbal communication; persistence and persuasion with high emotional intelligence.
Experience in SaaS or hospitality (hotels/restaurants) is a plus.

Hunting and closing new business opportunities.
Value-based discovery and demos to quantify impact for customers.
Growing key markets and expanding existing and new segments.
Pipeline management across stakeholders to create urgency and predictability.
