Job summary

Humana is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of critical automation platforms. You will support production automation solutions across domains such as RPA, infrastructure automation, and validation frameworks, enabling development teams to deliver new automation capabilities.

You will lead incident response, improve observability, and drive reliable releases through CI/CD, scripting, and IaC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
• Experience supporting production applications, platforms, or automation frameworks at scale.
• Strong understanding of reliability, monitoring, incident management, and RCA.
• Experience with testing, QA, configuration management, and deployments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, source control, and release management best practices.
• Experience with automation, scripting, or IaC tools (Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Terraform, RPA, Selenium).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and production support methodologies.
• Ability to identify bottlenecks, implement reliability improvements, and mitigate risk.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health, availability, and performance of automation platforms and services.
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Improve observability with monitoring, dashboards, and reporting.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve reliability and readiness.
• Support deployment, testing, configuration, and releases across automation solutions.
• Automate operational processes to reduce manual work and improve stability.
• Identify production risks and implement best reliability practices across the Automation Office.
