Job summary

Humana is seeking a Lead Technology Leadership Professional to shape the transformation of our Site Reliability Engineering through AI-powered operations and automation. You will partner with technology leaders, engineering teams, and partners to drive the AIOps strategy, expand automation, and improve operational efficiency across the enterprise.

You will lead small teams, engage with Humana executives, and apply SRE best practices to reduce toil.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of project, technical, or team leadership experience within application, SRE, DevOps, or automation environments.
Experience leading technology initiatives from planning through execution and delivery.
Hands-on experience with application, automation, or AIOps technologies.
Experience with software testing practices, including unit testing and mocking frameworks.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in complex or ambiguous situations.
Experience creating and presenting metrics, dashboards, trend analysis, and executive-level updates.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders.
Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and business teams to drive strategic outcomes.
Passion for innovation, automation, continuous improvement, and enhancing customer experiences.
Experience leading cross-functional projects or programs with measurable business results.

Responsibilities

Lead products from design completion to volume production release.
Perform engineering tests to verify and validate designs.
Support product evaluation and qualification on leading-edge technology components.
Ensure production schedules are followed and products meet specifications and quality requirements.
Interact with product engineering, quality, manufacturing and marketing to analyze and provide technical support.
Advise executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance.
Tackle complex issues with independent analysis and decision making.
