Job summary
Humana is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to oversee software application stability and deployment across environments. You will coordinate testing, QA, configuration, and support for new releases, while guiding analysts and developers to maintain reliability at scale.
You will lead high-severity incidents, coordinate bridge calls with senior leadership and ensure effective communication under pressure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related field.
- 8+ years in IT/SRE/DevOps/Platform Engineering roles.
- 2+ years leading technical projects or teams.
- Ability to lead high-severity incident and restoration calls with senior leadership.
- Strong verbal communication under pressure and stakeholder management.
- Proficient in root cause analysis across multi-system environments.
- Familiarity with generative/agentic AI tools for analysis and authoring.
- Passion for improving consumer experiences and pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and implement software applications within Humana.
- Lead testing, QA, configuration, installation and support for new software/releases.
- Advise executives on functional strategies and coordinate incident response.
