Job summary

Humana is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of critical automation platforms. You will support production automation across RPA, infrastructure automation, and validation frameworks, emphasizing operational excellence and incident management.

You will collaborate with development teams to enhance system reliability, deploy updates, and drive observability, reducing downtime and manual toil across automated services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems/DevOps, or related role.
• Experience supporting production applications, platforms, or automation frameworks at enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of reliability, monitoring, alerting, incident management, and RCA.
• Experience with testing, QA, configuration management, and production deployments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, source control, and release management best practices.
• Experience with automation technologies, scripting, or IaC tools (Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Terraform, RPA, Selenium).
• Familiarity with production support methodologies and cloud platforms, distributed systems.
• Ability to identify bottlenecks, implement reliability improvements, and mitigate risks.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and independent working skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Passion for continuous improvement in reliability and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health, availability, and performance of automation platforms and services.
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and RCA to minimize disruptions.
• Improve observability with monitoring, dashboards, and reporting.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance system reliability and readiness.
• Support deployment, testing, configuration, and releases across automation solutions.
• Drive automation of operational processes to reduce manual effort and increase stability.
• Identify production risks and implement reliability best practices across the Automation Office.
