Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking a Site Contract Specialist/Contract Manager for sponsor-dedicated work and remote U.S.-based assignments. The role focuses on executing CTAs, amendments, site budgets, and end-to-end contract lifecycle management within a CRO/pharma setting.

The ideal candidate will possess a business, health sciences background and strong negotiation, organization, and communication skills. Prior experience with start-up processes and ICH-GCP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience independently managing CTAs and amendments.
• Budget negotiations and site budget management.
• Contract lifecycle management with minimal oversight.
• Strong understanding of CTA drafting, templates, and fallback language.
• Familiarity with trial start-up processes and ICH-GCP.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate contract language and budgets for accuracy.
• Maintain internal trackers with timely information for transparency.
• Use sponsor-provided fallback language to negotiate site contracting terms.
• Negotiate study budgets within approved parameters and escalate as needed.
• Lead Kick-Off Meetings and coordinate upcoming contract and budget prep.
• Build positive relationships with stakeholders and manage risk proactively.
