Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Site Contract Specialist/Contract Manager for Sponsor Dedicated/Remote-U.S. Only. You will independently manage CTAs, amendments, site budgets, and contract lifecycle with minimal oversight, ensuring compliant contracts and timely site activation.

The role requires experience in CTA drafting, budget development, and knowledge of Phase II–IV trials, ICH-GCP, and start-up processes, alongside strong negotiation and relationship-building within sponsor trial workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Health, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Experience independently managing CTAs, CTA amendments, site budgets, and contract lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of CTA drafting/negotiation, templates and fallback language, budget development/negotiation strategies, and start-up processes.
• Experience maintaining negotiation status and documentation in sponsor/internal tracking systems.
• Excellent understanding of Phase II-IV trials, ICH-GCP, and development processes.
• Strong project management, organization, prioritization, and negotiation/communication/relationship-building.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review contract language and budgets for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain internal trackers to support transparency.
• Leverage sponsor fallback language to negotiate site contracting language.
• Negotiate study budgets within approved parameters before escalation.
• Attend weekly progress meetings and provide updates on active negotiations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align goals and site activation timelines.
• Establish positive relationships with stakeholders throughout negotiations.
• Identify risks early and drive solutions.
• Prepare contract and budget escalations as required.
• Prepare and finalize documents for studies-start up.
• Lead Kick-Off meetings with study team.
• Schedule contract and budget prep/overview meetings.
• Prepare final contracts after negotiations.
• Participate in pilot/stretch projects.
