Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer focused on Discovery and Integrations to support a Department of Transportation project. This remote, contract-to-hire role requires extensive ServiceNow expertise and strong integration experience, with a W2 arrangement and on-call rotation.

The candidate will design and support the Service Management System, lead integrations, and implement new functionality following SDLC and DevOps practices, with federal clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience, incl. 6+ years in admin services for a major Service Management System, preferably ServiceNow.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow Discovery and Integrations.
• Current CIS-Disco certification.
• Experience with SNMP technologies that support Discovery Patterns.
• Experience with SOAP and REST-based API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Perform implementation, administration, configuration, and development within the ServiceNow ITSM application suite, including specialty areas.
• Design the DOT Service Management System and support SMS operations, including engineering and the development lifecycle.
• Determine integration methods, directionality, and attributes.
• Participate in data normalization prior to import into ServiceNow.
• Participate in platform, process, and integration testing.
• Develop and maintain Discovery schedules, pattern usage, and define roles of other integrations.
• Fulfill the role of Enterprise Integration Manager.
• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services.
• Deliver new functionality across applications.
• Manage and perform SMS development activities across the full lifecycle.
• Apply SDLC and DevOps principles.
• Respond to and resolve escalated SMS service requests and incidents.
• Assist the platform administrator with incident resolution.
• Participate in on-call rotation during non-business hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
