Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Developer specializing in Discovery and Integrations to support the Department of Transportation. The role architectures, designs, and delivers enhancements within the ServiceNow ITSM stack and integrations, while following SDLC and DevOps practices.

The position is remote, with a full-time on-site rotation not required, offering a W2 arrangement and comprehensive benefits for eligible consultants.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience, with at least 6 years in administration of a major Service Management System.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow Discovery and Integrations.
• Current CIS-Disco certification.
• Current CSA certification.
• Experience with SNMP for Discovery Patterns.
• Experience with SOAP and REST-based API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Perform implementation, administration, configuration, and development within the ServiceNow ITSM application suite, including specialty areas.
• Design the DOT Service Management System and support SMS operations, including engineering and the development lifecycle.
• Determine integration methods, directionality, and attributes.
• Participate in data normalization prior to import into ServiceNow.
• Participate in platform, process, and integration testing.
• Develop and maintain Discovery schedules, pattern usage, and define roles of other integrations.
• Fulfill the role of Enterprise Integration Manager.
• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services.
• Deliver new functionality across applications.
• Manage and perform SMS development activities across the full lifecycle.
• Apply SDLC and DevOps principles.
• Respond to and resolve escalated SMS service requests and incidents.
• Assist the platform administrator with incident resolution.
• Participate in on-call rotation during non-business hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
