Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer focused on Discovery and Integrations to support the Department of Transportation. The role will design and support the Service Management System, lead integrations, and deliver new functionality while applying SDLC and DevOps principles.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience, including at least 6 years in administration services for a major Service Management System, preferably ServiceNow.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow Discovery and Integrations.
• Current ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Discovery (CIS-Disco) certification.
• Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery and Integrations.
• Experience with SNMP technologies that support Discovery Patterns.
• Experience with SOAP and REST-based API integrations.
• Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform implementation, administration, configuration, and development within the ServiceNow ITSM application suite, including specialty areas.
• Design the DOT Service Management System and support SMS operations, including engineering and the development lifecycle.
• Determine integration methods, directionality, and attributes.
• Participate in data normalization prior to import into ServiceNow.
• Participate in platform, process, and integration testing.
• Develop and maintain Discovery schedules, pattern usage, and define roles of other integrations.
• Fulfill the role of Enterprise Integration Manager.
• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services.
• Deliver new functionality across applications.
• Manage and perform SMS development activities across the full lifecycle.
• Apply SDLC and DevOps principles.
• Respond to and resolve escalated SMS service requests and incidents.
• Assist the platform administrator with incident resolution.
• Participate in on-call rotation during non-business hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
