Job summary

ABB Inc. seeks a Service Manager to oversee service projects and Customer Care Agreements in North America. You will lead, coordinate, and optimize resources to meet customer requirements and contract targets, while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes project scope, cost control, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration, with a remote-friendly work model in the Western US and strong use of SAP/ERP tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years' experience managing industrial control systems and electrical projects; utilities/industrial exposure required.
• Experience in managing project scope, cost, schedules and vendors/subcontractors.
• Strong written and spoken communication; collaborative, solution-focused.
• PMP designation is desirable; English fluency required; French an asset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor service orders to ensure cost control, resource efficiency, and HSE compliance.
• Analyze project risks and share lessons learned.
• Coordinate contract negotiations and claims with customers.
• Prepare quotes and implement contract changes per customer requests.
• Achieve service order deliverables and ensure contract compliance.
• Coordinate project team efforts across engineering, testing, site work, and subcontractors.
