Job summary

ABB Inc. seeks a Service Manager to oversee delivery of service projects and Customer Care Agreements across the North American region.

You will ensure customer requirements are met and targets achieved, delivering excellent service throughout the order lifecycle. This role supports a remote work model (#LI-Remote) in the Western US, coordinating with engineering, site work, and subcontractors to manage risks, quotes, and contract changes while maintaining high HSE standards and customer

• Analyzing and addressing project risks and disseminating lessons learned.
• Coordinate contract negotiations and claims with customers.
• Prepare quotes and implement contract changes based on customer requests.
• Achieve service order deliverables and comply with contract requirements.
• Coordinate project team efforts including engineering, testing, site work and subcontractors; review status and report on performance.

In this role, you will oversee the delivery of service projects and ABB Customer Care Agreements within our North American region. Reporting to the North American Mining & Material Service Manager you will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer requirements and all targets are met, providing excellent service at every stage of the customer orders.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Remote in the Western US.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Monitoring customer service orders to ensure best practices in cost control, resource efficiency and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
• Analyzing and addressing project risks, and regularly disseminating lessons learned
• Working with other functions to coordinate contract negotiations and claims with customers
• Prepare quotes and implement contract changes based on customer requests.
• Achieving service order deliverables and compliance with contract requirements
• Coordinate project team effort including engineering, testing, site work activities and sub-contractors. Review status, monitor, analyze and report on contract performance.
