Job summary

ABB's Mining & Material Service Team in North America seeks an experienced Service Program Manager to oversee delivery of service projects and customer care agreements across the region. You will lead project teams, manage contracts, and coordinate with engineering, testing, site work, and subcontractors to meet performance targets and customer requirements.

The role requires strong leadership and communication in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar Engineering or equivalent work experience.
5+ years' experience managing industrial control systems and electrical apparatus projects in industrial/utilities markets.
Experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules and vendors/subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Monitoring service orders to ensure cost control, resource efficiency and HSE.
Analyzing and addressing project risks and disseminating lessons learned.
Coordinating contract negotiations and claims with customers.
Prepare quotes and implement contract changes based on customer requests.
Achieving service order deliverables and compliance with contract requirements.
Coordinate project team effort including engineering, testing, site work activities and sub-contractors; review status and report on performance.
