ABB Inc. is seeking a Service Manager to oversee the delivery of service projects and Customer Care Agreements across the North American region.

You will report to the North American Mining & Material Service Manager and ensure customer requirements and targets are met while delivering excellent service at every stage of the order process. The role involves coordinating engineering, testing, site work and subcontractors, along with maintaining cost controls and risk mitigation.

• Experience overseeing service projects and managing customer expectations.
• Ability to coordinate with engineering, testing, site work and sub-contractors.
• Proven track record in negotiating contracts and handling claims.

In this role, you will oversee the delivery of service projects and ABB Customer Care Agreements within our North American region. Reporting to the North American Mining & Material Service Manager you will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer requirements and all targets are met, providing excellent service at every stage of the customer orders.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Remote in the Western US.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Monitoring customer service orders to ensure best practices in cost control, resource efficiency and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
• Analyzing and addressing project risks, and regularly disseminating lessons learned
• Working with other functions to coordinate contract negotiations and claims with customers
• Prepare quotes and implement contract changes based on customer requests.
• Achieving service order deliverables and compliance with contract requirements
• Coordinate project team effort including engineering, testing, site work activities and sub-contractors. Review status, monitor, analyze and report on contract performance.
