Utility Lines Construction Services (ULCS) seeks a Senior Transmission Line Estimator to lead complex estimates for transmission, substation, and storm restoration projects. The role emphasizes mentorship, risk evaluation, and bid strategy development across the organization.

The position is fully remote with national coverage; preference for candidates in AR, LA, MS, or TX, but qualified applicants nationwide will be considered. Strong Excel/HeavyBid skills are essential.

Competenze

• 7+ years of transmission line construction estimating experience for high-voltage projects.
• Proficient with HCSS HeavyBid; Bid2Win experience valued.
• Experience leading estimates for transmission EPC projects and labor-driven estimates.
• Experience with investor-owned utilities, electric cooperatives, municipalities, EPC projects, MSAs.
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• PMP/CCP/PSP or related certifications are a plus.
• Field experience as Journeyman Lineman or related roles.

Mansioni

• Lead estimating efforts for transmission, substation, storm restoration projects from opportunity to bid.
• Develop and review labor, equipment, material, subcontractor estimates.
• Collaborate with Operations and Executive Leadership on bid strategy and risk.
• Review drawings, contracts, specs, and terms to identify risks and pricing opportunities.
• Support client presentations, estimate reviews, and major proposals.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor estimating team.
• Present bid strategies and risk assessments to Executives.
