Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services (ULCS) is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Estimator to lead estimating strategy for complex transmission, substation, storm restoration, and utility infrastructure projects.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to Operations Leadership and Executive Management, helping shape pursuit strategy, evaluate risk, develop execution plans, and position ULCS to win major projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of transmission line estimating experience.
• Experience with high-voltage transmission projects (69kV–500kV+).
• Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Field experience as Journeyman Lineman/Foreman/Engineer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating efforts for complex transmission and substation projects from opportunity assessment to bid submission.
• Develop and review labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor estimates using relevant platforms.
• Partner with Operations and Executives to develop bid strategies and execution plans.
• Review drawings, contracts, and specs to identify risks and pricing opportunities.
• Mentor estimating team and drive continuous improvement of procedures.
