Job summary

Nutanix is seeking a Technical Account Manager to act as a trusted advisor and customer advocate in a remote-capable role. You will develop deep understanding of customers' data center architectures and IT initiatives to drive value.

This TAM works cross-functionally with Support, Services, Education Services, and Sales to deliver exceptional service and optimize outcomes for customers of varying sizes and industries. Periodic travel is required to engage with critical engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Technical Account Manager, Support Engineer, or Technical Customer Experience Manager.
• Proven experience supporting large enterprise, strategic, or government customers with complex environments.
• Deep expertise in at least one technical domain (virtualization, hybrid cloud, storage, networking, data protection, or distributed systems).
• Broad understanding of data-center infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, disaster recovery, high availability, security, and enterprise workloads.
• Strong Nutanix platform expertise, including AOS and AHV.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep, technical understanding of the customer’s priorities and data center architecture to serve as a trusted advisor to operations, engineering, and executive stakeholders.
• Lead strategic operational reviews and health checks linking Nutanix recommendations to business outcomes and risk reduction.
• Lead proactive lifecycle planning including software upgrades, capacity planning, and platform standardization.
• Identify systemic operational and architectural risks and establish cross-functional action plans to mitigate them.
• Coordinate critical customer escalations with clear ownership and timely resolutions.
