Job summary

Nutanix is seeking a Technical Account Manager to proactively solve problems for enterprise customers, focusing on hybrid cloud, virtualization, storage, and networking. You will serve as a technical advisor and customer advocate, collaborating with Support, Services, Education, and Sales teams to maximize value.

You will report to the Manager, Services Delivery, and work in a remote-friendly environment with periodic travel for critical engagements and data center reviews.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as TAM, Support Engineer, or Technical CX Manager.
• Proven experience supporting large enterprise, strategic, or government customers with complex environments.
• Deep expertise in at least one technical domain (virtualization, hybrid cloud, storage, networking, data protection, or distributed systems).
• Broad understanding of data-center infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, DR, HA, security, workloads).
• Strong Nutanix platform expertise, including AOS and AHV.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep, technical understanding of the customer’s data center architecture and IT initiatives to act as a trusted advisor to operations, engineering, and exec stakeholders.
• Lead strategic operational reviews and health checks linking Nutanix recommendations to business outcomes and risk reduction.
• Drive lifecycle planning including software upgrades, capacity planning, resilience, and standardization.
• Identify systemic risks and establish cross-functional action plans to mitigate them.
• Lead or coordinate critical customer escalations with clear ownership and executive communication.
