Job summary
Toshiba America Business Solutions is a leader in digital technology, and we are seeking a Systems Support Specialist IV to troubleshoot complex networks, systems, and applications for our customers from a remote setup.
This role combines remote work with periodic on-site travel to client sites across Indiana and nearby regions; you will perform root cause analysis, resolve issues efficiently, and work closely with customer IT staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years increasingly responsible experience in networking systems, systems support, interfaces, connectivity and related software.
- Knowledgeable in information & Document Lifecycle process, products and services.
- Experience with hardware and software industry.
- Experience with installation and upgrades; experience with multifunctional devices.
- Experience in cloud applications, IT Infrastructure & Security and systems integration.
- Expertise in workflows, processes, and scripting.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to travel to sites periodically.
Responsibilities
- Perform root cause analysis of presented problems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex systems problems in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Monitor systems regularly to accept and/or reject network site surveys present and take appropriate action.
- Perform confirmation tests as directed.
- Work with customers to resolve technical issues.
- Interface heavily with customer IT personnel.
