Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Administrator to join our Supply Chain team. You will execute and manage high-dollar procurements, handling subcontract negotiations and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS requirements.

The role may be performed remotely or on-site, with responsibilities spanning SOW management, RFI/RFQ issuance, and supplier performance across multiple sites, including international coordination.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or advanced degree with years of experience in contracts.
• Experience with USG/DoD/FAA contracts and government contracting methods.
• Experience creating and managing SOWs through Engineering Technical Review (ETR).
• Advanced purchasing experience with PO creation in an ERP system.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving with sound judgment.
• Financial acumen to assess cost reasonableness.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risk.
• Create and manage SOWs and drive them through final review and ETR release.
• Issue RFI and RFQ packages and ensure receipt of complete information.
• Conduct flow-down analyses to ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, FAA, and international standards.
• Negotiate and manage supplier pricing, cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Execute Subcontracts, Inter-divisional Work Transfer Agreements, NDAs, Leasing Agreements, and Long-Term Agreements.
• Write contract letters and maintain comprehensive legal records per U.S. Government standards.
• Support proposal costing efforts for subcontract material and labor.
• Support business units across multiple sites, including international coordination.
• Manage supplier performance, including quarterly business reviews.
• Assist with metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Travel up to 5-10%.
