Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Administrator to join our Supply Chain team. You will manage high-dollar procurements with critical subcontractors, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and related standards.

The role may be remote or on-site at a Saab, Inc. location. Responsibilities include creating and managing SOWs through ETR, issuing RFIs/ RFQs, performing flow-down analyses, and coordinating with international sites.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering with 5+ years experience, or MBA/MS/JD with 3+ years
• Experience with USG/DoD/FAA contracts and government contracting methods
• Experience creating and managing SOWs through ETR release
• Advanced purchasing with PO creation in ERP systems
• Strong negotiation skills and cost analysis ability
• Analytical thinking with sound judgment and problem solving

Responsibilities

• Review requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risk
• Create and manage SOWs and drive through ETR release
• Issue RFIs and RFQs and ensure complete information
• Perform flow-down analyses to meet customer requirements including FAR/DFARS FAA
• Negotiate and manage supplier pricing, cost, schedule, and performance
• Execute Subcontracts, NDAs, Leases, and Long-Term Agreements
• Maintain legal records per US government guidelines
• Support proposal costing for subcontract material and labor
• Coordinate across sites including international partners
• Lead quarterly business reviews with key suppliers
• Contribute to metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement
• Travel up to 5–10% per year
