Job summary

SAIC seeks a Senior Subcontracts Analyst to join the Procurement Team. The role is 100% remote within the United States and requires a strong background in government contracting, FAR knowledge, and cost/price analysis.

You will lead subcontract administration on proposals and ensure post-award compliance. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's or master's degree with relevant experience and possess excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple contracts and supplier relations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of related experience or Master's with 4+ years of related experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Thorough understanding of the government acquisition process and related laws.
• Working knowledge of FAR and Public Laws relating to subcontracting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent oral and written communication with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, negotiate, and administer subcontract specifications, work statements, agreements, and terms and conditions for procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
• Act as the lead subcontracts administrator on the proposal team.
• Prepare bid packages, write small business subcontracting plan per RFP requirements, evaluate proposals and pricing, negotiate terms, select subcontractors, and manage resulting subcontracts.
• Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts and sign supplier agreements.
• Understand cost/price analysis concepts and complete analyses on moderate to high complexity proposals.
• Independently manage the assigned area with some guidance from management.
• Interact with internal customers and management regarding acquisition requirements and issue resolution.
• Ensure post-award compliance on supplier performance and SDRLs.
