Job summary

Health‑E Commerce is actively seeking a hands-on Manager/Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations to own the operational backbone of a telehealth business. You will balance resolving urgent patient or partner issues with building scalable processes across clinical, pharmacy, and platform partners to enable growth.

As you scale, you’ll develop SOPs, dashboards, and cadence, manage external partners against SLAs, and drive improvements using data.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, telehealth, or a similarly complex regulated environment.
• Experience managing external partners against defined service levels and business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of operational workflows with the ability to diagnose problems across multiple organizations and systems.
• Demonstrated success building processes, reporting and operating cadences in a growing and evolving business.
• Strong analytical judgment: use data to identify risks, priorities, and performance.
• Ownership mindset with hands-on operating style: investigate individual issues while building scalable solutions.
• Comfortable with ambiguity: able to make progress before every process or ownership boundary is fully defined.

Responsibilities

• Care delivery operations: Manage the day-to-day operating relationship with patients, providers, and telehealth-platform partners; ensure seamless intake to ongoing care; identify workflow breakdowns and drive root-cause fixes; own solutions and consider second-order effects.
• Pharmacy and supply-chain operations: Manage relationships with pharmacy and fulfillment performance, turnaround times, and SLAs; build contingency plans for capacity constraints and disruptions.
• Platform and partner coordination: Ensure clear responsibilities and handoffs across all parties; lead readiness planning for major launches with workflows, escalation paths, reporting and contingency plans.
• Customer-support partnership: Collaborate with CS to unblock operational constraints and improve patient experience; coordinate resolution of complex cases across clinical, pharmacy, payment, or partner ecosystems.
• Operating cadence and performance: Use data to drive key operational metrics; develop SOPs, playbooks, and controls to scale efficiently.
