Job summary

Skydio is seeking a Solutions Engineering leader to drive the Site Security team within Commercial. You will own the team’s quota, shape the technical sales motion, and shepherd deals from first site to fleet-wide security programs.

This role is remote with up to 60% travel and reports to the Director, Solutions Engineering – Commercial. You’ll build a scalable technical practice, partner with Sales, Deployment, and Marketing, and mentor SEs and a Specialist to win in security-focused

Qualifications

Experience leading a quota-carrying Solutions Engineering team in security or related field.
Strong track record in building a repeatable technical sales motion.
Ability to forecast pipeline and coach for technical wins.
Experience with sub-segments like data centers, corrections, military installations.

Responsibilities

Hire, develop, and retain a quota-carrying Site Security SE team and a Site Security Specialist.
Define and execute a repeatable technical sales motion for priority sub-segments.
Lead forecasting, deal reviews, and risk management for the team.
Coordinate with Account Executives and Deployment Engineering to scale multi-site programs.
Translate field requirements into product input and maintain technical playbooks.
