Job summary

Skydio is seeking a strategic leader to hire, develop, and retain a team of Site Security Solutions Engineers and a Specialist, while owning team performance against quota and running regular pipeline reviews.

You will partner with security sales leadership on forecasting and deal strategy, drive expansion from first site to fleet-wide programs, and build the security playbook to guide site assessments and integrations with VMS, access control, and AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and retain a team of Site Security Solutions Engineers and a Specialist.
• Own team performance against quota and run regular pipeline and deal reviews.
• Partner with security sales leadership on forecasting and deal strategy.
• Engage on strategic pursuits and drive expansion from first site to fleet-wide programs.
• Build Skydio's security technical playbook and define standards for site assessment and integration.
• Equip the team for conversations with VMS, access control, and AI platforms.
• Translate field requirements into PRDs and prioritized product input.
• Maintain first-hand product knowledge through frequent hands-on use.
