Job summary

Skydio is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager for Solutions Engineering to lead the SLED Top 1200 effort. This remote position requires traveling about 30% to support engagements, deployments, and events.

You will report to the Director, Solutions Engineering – SLED and build a repeatable, scalable team capable of driving technical wins across national accounts. You will partner with Sales and Product to ensure field feedback informs design decisions and that imagery, demos, and site assessments

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role (solutions engineering, field engineering, or applications engineering).
• 1+ years in formal or informal team leadership with hiring/mentorship responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of drone technology and Public Safety sUAS operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Solutions Engineering team with clear ownership across the territories.
• Set the bar for technical quality in demos, site assessments, and customer-facing documentation.
• Own capacity planning and tradeoffs across the segment; manage resources accordingly.
• Represent the customer inside Skydio, translating field observations into prioritized requirements.
