Job summary
Cognizant is seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst – Senior Manager to bridge business needs and technology solutions across ServiceNow. You will translate complex requirements into actionable deliverables and collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to drive successful implementations and enhancements.
Responsibilities include leading discovery, writing user stories, prioritizing backlogs, and guiding Agile ceremonies.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in IT analysis translating business needs into deliverables.
- 4+ years hands-on ServiceNow experience across ITSM/CSM/FSM modules.
- Current CSA certification required; at least one additional ServiceNow cert is a plus.
- Proven ability to elicit requirements, write user stories and specs.
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience with backlog and sprint planning.
- Experience supporting UAT, defect tracking, and validation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops with stakeholders.
- Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and specs.
- Prioritize backlogs with product owners and support Agile ceremonies.
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams throughout.
- Coordinate UAT, document defects, and support resolution efforts.
- Prepare status updates, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigations.
- Manage scope and support change requests to ensure success.
