Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Manager ServiceNow Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology, guiding implementations and enhancements across the ServiceNow platform. This remote role is open to qualified applicants across the United States.

You will lead discovery, translate requirements into user stories, support Agile ceremonies, coordinate UAT, and manage scope and risks while collaborating with stakeholders, product owners, developers, and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Process Analyst within IT organizations.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, CSM, FSM, Asset Management or related modules).
• Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.
• At least one additional active ServiceNow certification (e.g. CIS-ITSM, CIS-CSM, CIS-FSM, CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM).
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specs.
• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments with backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Experience supporting UAT, defect tracking, and solution validation.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multi-vendor environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops with business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Partner with product owners and delivery teams to prioritize backlogs and support Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate UAT, document defects, and support issue resolution efforts.
• Prepare project status updates and communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Moderate scope discussions and support change request processes to drive project success.
