Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly skilled security researcher to study in-the-wild exploits, contribute to adversary tracking, and develop automation for exploit analysis. You will work on the TAC team to analyze vulnerabilities, write actionable threat intelligence, and collaborate with multiple teams to mitigate threats.

This remote role requires deep reverse engineering capability, Python scripting, and excellent writing skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques commonly seen in user-space and kernel vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Windows OS and other platforms.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Strong reverse engineering skills and tooling knowledge.
• Experience with Python scripting for research tasks.
• Ability to communicate complex results through writing.
• Collaborative mindset and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop tracking systems for adversary tracking based on exploitation behavior.
• Improve detection capabilities for exploits and payloads.
• Expand visibility of threats using new data sources.
• Reverse engineer exploits to understand inner workings.
• Create automation tools to assist exploit analysis.
• Develop classification framework for intrusion activity based on vulnerabilities.
