Job summary

CrowdStrike Intelligence is seeking a security researcher to analyze exploits observed in the wild, reverse engineer malware, and support adversary tracking. You will advance exploit analysis capabilities and contribute to cross-team mitigation efforts.

The role requires MA/MS in Computer Science (or equivalent), strong Python and writing skills, and a collaborative mindset. This is a remote role with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques commonly seen in exploits for userspace and kernel-level vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows.
• Familiarity with standard web-based exploitation vectors.
• Collaborative mindset and strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement tracking systems for adversary tracking based on observed exploitation behavior.
• Improve and maintain capabilities for detecting exploits and malicious payloads.
• Develop host-based and network-based signatures for large-scale hunting and mitigation.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reporting with actionable guidance.
• Brief across teams and with customers as needed.
