Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits and contribute to the TAC team’s defensive efforts. You will research exploitation techniques, develop automation, and produce actionable threat intel for a broad audience.

This remote role involves collaborating across teams, briefing customers, and advancing mitigation strategies while leveraging AI-assisted tools. Strong writing skills required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques commonly seen in userspace and kernel exploits.
• Knowledge of network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of at least two OS platforms, including Windows.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Collaborative mindset and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop tracking systems for cross-team adversary tracking based on exploitation behavior.
• Maintain capabilities to detect exploits, malicious payloads and attack vectors.
• Develop classification framework for intrusion activity based on vulnerabilities.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports with actionable guidance.
• Brief customers and collaborate across teams on mitigation strategies.
