Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits, focusing on vulnerability and intrusion techniques as part of the TAC team. You will reverse engineer exploits, build automation, and contribute to threat intelligence and mitigation strategies.

The role emphasizes writing, collaboration, and the use of AI-assisted tools to accelerate research and scale detection across environments. Remote work with occasional travel is available.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques commonly seen in userspace and kernel exploits.
• Knowledge of network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Windows and at least one other OS.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Strong writing skills and ability to communicate complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Implement tracking systems for adversary activity from exploitation behavior.
• Develop host- and network-based signatures for large-scale hunting and prevention.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports with remediation guidance.
• Brief diverse audiences and coordinate with CrowdStrike teams.
• Create tools to automate exploit analysis and classification.
