Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits and document techniques used by adversaries. You will leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate vulnerability research and collaborate across teams to inform mitigation strategies.

The role emphasizes reverse engineering, tooling development, and clear, authoritative threat intelligence reporting for diverse audiences. Remote work with occasional travel is available.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques seen in userspace and kernel exploits.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Windows and at least one other OS platform.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.

Responsibilities

• Implement tracking systems for adversary malware/ exploit activity.
• Improve detection capabilities for exploits and malicious payloads.
• Develop classifiers and signatures for large-scale threat hunting.
• Produce high-quality threat intel reports with actionable mitigation guidance.
