Job summary

GoTo is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst, SaaS Retention Specialist, to own renewal forecasting, retention analysis, and insights that influence financial planning and strategic decisions.

This remote role supports US teams and partners across finance, product, and customer success, with a collaborative, fast-paced culture. You’ll architect forecast models for churn and renewal rates, analyze retention trends, conduct variance analyses, and reconcile data weekly and monthly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A or similar financial analysis in SaaS or subscription-based models.
• Expert level financial modeling and data manipulation.
• Exceptionally self-motivated, detail-oriented, with ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced strategic thinking and ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting: Own end-to-end renewal forecasting; validate models for churn/retention outcomes.
• Retention Trend Analysis: Analyze retention metrics and trends; own weekly pacing updates and reviews.
• Proactive Insights: Conduct variance analyses; deliver recommendations influencing strategy.
• Reporting & Data Integrity: Reconcile retention data weekly/monthly; ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports.
