Job summary

GoTo is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst, SaaS Retention Specialist, to own renewal forecasting, retention analytics, and actionable insights across SaaS product lines.

You’ll work with Retention Analytics and cross-functional partners to drive accurate reporting and strategic decisions. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in FP&A for SaaS, strong financial modeling, and the ability to translate complex data for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; advanced degree a plus. 5+ years’ experience in FP&A, or similar financial analysis roles in SaaS or subscription-based business models (Inc., deep understanding of SaaS KPIs/Metrics).
• Expert level financial modeling and data manipulation.
• Exceptionally self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
• Advanced strategic thinking and ability to communicate complex concepts across teams.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting: Own end-to-end renewal forecasting, architect and validate churn/renewal models with high precision.
• Retention Trend Analysis: Analyze retention metrics and trends, deliver actionable insights to leadership, and own weekly/monthly reviews.
• Proactive Insights: Conduct deep-dive variance analysis and deliver recommendations influencing business strategies.
• Reporting & Data Integrity: Reconcile retention data weekly/monthly and manage data accuracy across large datasets.
