Job summary

GoTo is seeking a Senior Account Executive for IT Support Products (SaaS) to own territories, drive expansions and renewals, and build a net-new pipeline. You will collaborate with Sales Engineering, PMs for proofs of concept, and cross-functional teams to close deals with a focus on customer outcomes.

You’ll prospect, qualify, and forecast with discipline while leveraging Salesforce and working with BDRs and partner managers. Occasional travel to customer sites and partner events is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in B2B SaaS.
• Proven ability to prospect and uncover customer needs through consultative discovery.
• Self-motivated with proactive communication across internal teams and timely follow-up with customers.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to travel occasionally for customer on-sites and events.

Responsibilities

• Territory ownership: Take over an assigned territory, including existing customers and in-progress opportunities, and manage it toward quota.
• Expansion and renewals: Grow existing accounts through upsells and upgrades, and protect revenue by partnering with the Renewals team, especially on at-risk renewals.
• New business: Build net-new pipeline with your dedicated BDR through weekly strategy sessions and a steady outbound prospecting rhythm.
• Collaboration: Bring the right people into every deal: Sales Engineering, project managers for proofs of concept, product, legal and contracts, and Regional Partner Managers.
• Partner selling: Work with value-added resellers and strategic partners to source and close business.
• Sales discipline: Plan your week with intent, qualify (and disqualify) quickly, forecast accurately, and keep Salesforce current.
