Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 roadside issues end-to-end. You will decide on internal vs third-party dispatch, addressing faults from manufacturing to operational reliability via phone support to restore uptime.

You will mentor the Tier 1 team, share OEM and internal training materials, and provide analysis to improve breakdowns and warranty issues while working a Tue–Sat shift for 3:00pm–11:30pm EST.

Qualifications

• High technical knowledge of Ryder fleet assets and related systems.
• Proven diagnostic and problem-solving abilities in vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with drivers and dispatchers.

Responsibilities

• Own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish.
• Decide whether to dispatch internal technicians or third parties.
• Provide updated technical knowledge and training to the team.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center staff and handle escalations.
