Job summary

Leidos' Power Delivery Solutions (PDS) division is seeking a Senior Relay Settings Engineer to join our fast-paced team. You will prepare relay settings from 4.16kV to 500kV, create logic diagrams, and document configurations for protection schemes.

You will collaborate with protection engineers, review settings packages, and support project planning through design and construction phases. Travel to customer sites may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Minimum 4+ years in power system protection and relay settings.
• Familiar with Aspen OneLiner and Siemens CAPE for coordination studies.
• Experience preparing technical reports on protective relay settings.
• Ability to develop relay settings for SEL, Alstom, GE and ABB relays.
• Deep understanding of transmission line and substation protection schemes.
• Ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
• High attention to detail and strong communication in a fast-paced team.
• Willingness to travel overnight occasionally.

• Prepare relay settings from 4.16kV through 500kV and document configurations.

• Work with clients and remote staff at field locations.
