Job summary

Leidos LLC is seeking a Senior Relay Settings Engineer to design and validate relay settings for substations and renewable projects. You will work with protection engineers across remote locations, preparing configuration files, logic diagrams, and documentation for high voltage systems.

Ideal candidates bring a BSEE, a PE license (or EIT), and 4+ years in power system protection, with experience in Aspen OneLiner or CAPE and in multiple relay platforms. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS EE from ABET-accredited program.
• PE License or EIT/INTENDED.
• 4+ years in power system protection and relay settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare relay settings from 4.16kV to 500kV with points, diagrams, and config docs.
• Collaborate with protection engineers and perform quality reviews.
• Support project planning through design and construction phases.
• Coordinate with clients and remote offices; travel as needed.
• Develop relay settings for multiple relay families (SEL, Alstom, GE, ABB).
