Job summary

Leidos' Power Delivery Solutions division seeks a Senior Relay Settings Engineer to design and review substation protection schemes and relay settings from 4.16kV to 500kV. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution, or BSEE and a PE license.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in power system protection and relay settings.
• Ability to use Aspen OneLiner / Siemens CAPE for coordination and fault studies.
• Experience preparing high-quality technical reports.
• Ability to develop relay settings for SEL, Alstom, GE, ABB relays.
• Understanding of transmission line and substation protection schemes.
• Experience interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Detail-oriented with strong teamwork and communication.
• Willingness to travel overnight to customer sites or testing labs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare relay settings from 4.16kV through 500kV including set points and configurations.
• Collaborate with protection engineers and perform quality reviews.
• Support project planning through design and construction phases.
• Work with clients and staff in remote office locations.
