Leidos is seeking a Senior Relay Settings Engineer for our Power Delivery Solutions team. You will prepare relay settings for high-voltage systems, collaborate with protection engineers, and provide design and construction support for substation projects.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BSEE required or BSEE plus PE license.
• Minimum four years of experience in power protection and relay settings.
• Experience with Aspen OneLiner / CAPE for coordination and fault studies.
• Ability to prepare high-quality relay-setting reports.
• Experience with relays such as SEL, Alstom, GE, ABB.
• Understanding of transmission line and substation protection schemes.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Detail-oriented with strong teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Prepare relay settings from 4.16 kV to 500 kV with points, diagrams, configuration files, and documentation.
• Collaborate with protection engineers and review relay setting packages.
• Support project planning through design and construction.
• Interact with clients and remote staff.
• Solve challenging substation engineering problems.
