Job summary

Avangrid seeks a Senior Manager to lead regional organic growth, developing and implementing strategy to achieve yearly goals in the renewable pipeline. You will guide regional developers, coordinate with policy, origination, and engineering teams, and manage budgets across multiple markets.

The role requires deep knowledge of wind/solar development, strong leadership, and travel across designated regions. Collaboration with senior leaders is essential for successful FID/COD outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 8+ years in power industry.
• 8+ years of project development in wind and solar.
• 5+ years of team leadership experience.
• Project management experience.
• Experience leading development and bringing projects to construction/operations.
• Knowledge of renewable energy development lifecycle from origination to construction.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ across the region and to corporate HQ.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; GIS tools such as ArcGIS/Google Earth.

Responsibilities

• Define growth plan and priority regions with leadership.
• Lead regional renewables development and coordinating multiple teams.
• Develop regional strategic plans and budgets.
• Build greenfield project pipeline to meet business plans.
• Lead and develop cross-disciplinary PM and development teams.
• Coordinate with origination to execute sales/market development strategy.
• Manage regional budgets and ensure alignment with strategy.
• Develop market competitive assessments and ROI analyses.
• Support monetization options and project prioritization.
