Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Senior Recruiter to identify, engage, and hire high-caliber technical talent with a focus on engineering and operations.

You will partner with hiring managers, HR Partners, and leadership to build targeted talent strategies and strong pipelines in a fast-paced, defense/aerospace environment. The role is remote with a preference for candidates in the Eastern or Central Time Zone and may require travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Master’s with relevant recruiting experience.
• 8+ years recruiting/sourcing experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting in engineering, operations, and specialized roles.
• Experience recruiting in defense/aerospace/regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce plans and role requirements.
• Develop targeted recruiting and sourcing strategies for engineering, technical, program management roles.
• Identify, engage, and cultivate passive candidates using multiple channels.
• Build and maintain high-quality technical talent pipelines for current and anticipated needs.
• Conduct market research and talent mapping to understand skill availability and compensation trends.
• Collaborate on assessment strategies, interview approaches, and selection criteria.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate screens for technical fit.
• Advise hiring managers on talent availability, compensation, and market conditions.
• Manage candidate activity and maintain accurate recruiting documentation in Workday.
• Support compensation analysis, offers, and recruitment events.
