Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Senior Recruiter to lead technical talent acquisition across engineering and operations. You will partner with managers, HR, and cross-functional teams to build pipelines for hard-to-fill roles, while delivering a superior candidate experience.

This position is remote with a preference for candidates in Eastern or Central Time zones and may require up to 15% travel. You will drive sourcing strategies, market research, and assessment designs, ensuring top talent alignment

Qualifications

• 8+ years of recruiting experience in engineering/operations preferred.
• Experience with defense/regulated industries is preferred.
• Strong sourcing of passive candidates using Boolean search and market mapping.
• Proven ability to partner with engineering leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Workday or similar ATS.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce plans, role requirements, and priorities.
• Develop targeted recruiting and sourcing strategies for engineering, technical, program management and specialized roles.
• Identify, engage, and cultivate passive candidates using LinkedIn, databases, search techniques, market research, and networks.
• Build and maintain high-quality technical talent pipelines for current and future needs.
• Conduct market research and talent mapping to understand skill availability and compensation trends.
• Partner with hiring managers to establish assessment strategies and interview criteria.
• Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screens for technical fit.
• Provide insight to hiring managers on talent availability, compensation, and competition.
• Manage candidate activity and ensure timely, high-quality communication.
• Maintain candidate information and recruiting records in Workday.
• Support compensation analysis and offer development with the team.
• Assist with recruiting events, networking initiatives, and employer branding.
• Contribute to broader Talent Acquisition initiatives and process improvements.
