Job summary

B&B Concrete is seeking a senior Estimator/Detailer for remote work with periodic travel to project sites. You will review structural drawings, perform reinforced-steel takeoffs, and develop pricing across materials, fabrication, detailing, placing labor, and logistics.

Strong communication with PMs, engineers, and field teams is essential. The role focuses on establishing estimating standards, cost databases, and preconstruction processes while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience in reinforcing-steel industry.
• Ability to independently review structural drawings and specifications.
• Experience with large concrete-intensive projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete reinforcing-steel quantity takeoffs from drawings and specs.
• Develop material, fabrication, detailing, placing labor and other project costs.
• Establish labor hours and production assumptions.
• Review plans for scope gaps and constructability.
• Prepare conceptual, preliminary and final estimates.
• Lead standard estimating procedures and templates.
